English for Speakers of Other Languages
The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) department serves multilingual students from all over the world by helping them achieve proficiency in the English language. Activities within ESOL classes are structured to ensure that multilingual students not only achieve mastery in conversational English but also in academic language. Students are given support in their content classes by ESOL teachers so that students are accessing academic content in a way that is comprehensible based on their levels of proficiency in English.
