Car Rider Pick up and Drop Off

The procedure for drop off and pick is as follows:

All traffic needs to flow through the new traffic circle that was built in the spring.  When dropping off students or picking up students, drivers should proceed through the circle towards the middle school.  Shortly after passing through the circle, drivers should move into the left lane and proceed along the road pass the entrance of the middle school.  Drivers should pass the large containers and make a left into the lot and proceed along the curb and drive around the new building to the front of school.  Once in front of the school, drivers should pull to the curb and drop off students as quickly as possible to move the line along.  The left lane should not be used to drop off but to pass other cars who are dropping off or picking up students.  The front parking lot is not a drop off or pick up area.  It is only for staff and Emergency Vehicles.  After dropping off or picking up students, drivers will exit the school onto school road by the theatre. 

Students could also be dropped off in the Elementary School lot across the street.  Students proceed to the foot bridge and cross the street by the SCC (Theatre).  There will be a person there to assist. 

It is important for everyone to follow this procedure for a safe and efficient arrival and departure of students.
